I had a troll of the web looking for some references to the Dreadclaw Assault shuttle, and couldn't find any pics, so I figured I had free reign.  Here goes:

very nice paint job, and nice model too - what is it?
And where is the 'Dreadclaw Assault shuttle' referred to? I made a Chaos shuttle some months ago, as a counterpart to the Imperial Argus, but never knew that the fluff reported one. :)

Er - just a minute, is the Dreadclaw the same used in BFG? If so, ok, I know where the fluff comes from  :p

Isn't dreadclaw the Chaos eqvivalent (sp?) of the imperial drop pod? If there was a shuttle by the same name I wouldn't be suprised, but just checking.

Yep, they represent the same drop pod as I posted above, except used in a ship-boarding role.

In NetEpic the Dreadclaw is a shuttle with the same transport capacity as the T-Hawk. ?Pretty sure there was a reference to the CSMs using "Assault Shuttles" during the Heresy, and these became "Dreadclaw Assault Shuttles". ?Interesting to see some more fluff/model divergence.

The birdy is a mash-up using a couple of Mechwarrior pieces. ?The original VTOL (whose name escapes me) had big lift fan engines, so I swapped these for something a bit more aerospace looking from a Yasha VTOL.  Figured these would be pretty beat up from lots of atmospheric insertions so went for a really scruffed up scheme.  Paints are Vellejo, quite like these.
