Strategy Roll: Biel-Tan
The Wraithship unleashes hell on the Siegemasters as the Orbital Bombardment engulfs Infantry Company 2. ?They are savaged, losing their Commander, 2 Rapiers, 2 Snipers, and 6 Siege Infantry. ?The survivors break, fleeing towards the nearby fortifications, cursing their commanding officers.

(So, yeah, my cunning plan didn't work out so well. ?*laugh* ?I wanted to paint an obvious target for the OB up on "Hero's Hill with the bunkers and stuff, and then not put anything in many of them, marching into them in the first turn. ?My first mistake was forgetting that the "support weapons" only have a 10cm move; if I'd recalled that, I wouldn't have tried this unusual deployment. ?My second mistake was not realizing the intimidating appearance of all those fortifications, my opponent deliberately didn't target them because he didn't think he'd be able to do much damage if he hit units in them, so he opted to just try his luck hammering the open area in the middle of my deployment zone? lucky indeed! ?*laugh*)
The Siegfrieds advance and fire on the Dark Reaper Troupe, placing a single Blast marker.
The Revenant Titans leap over buildings to advance on Rough Rider 1, wiping it out in searing flashes of laser light and missile blasts. ?*OUCH*
Infantry Company 1 sustains fire on the Rangers, killing 3 and breaking them? and the Eldar move closer to the Imperials!
Swords of Vaul 2 tries to advance, but fails and snaps some shots off at the Light Tank Platoon, trashing 2 Siegfrieds.
Heavy Tank Platoon 2 rumbles forward on an advance and is able to target the Revenants. ?The second of the two lithe Titans takes 2DC damage and loses its Holofield. ?Woohoo!
The Reaper Troupe tries to engage the Siegfrieds, but falls to get motivated and their Falcons just fire? taking out 3 of the light tanks and forcing the survivor to flee.
Thunderbolt Squadron 1 dives down to attack the Revenants. ?One of the brave pilots is shot down on approach, but the other scores a telling hit on the second Revenant, bringing it crashing down and breaking the other. ?WOOHOO!
Swords of Vaul 1 double to fire on Infantry Company 1 and take out 1 Rapier.
The Sappers double forward to flame the Rangers, taking out 1 via fear. ?(This was somewhat odd, as we discovered that, with their 10cm zone of control, you can't get close enough to shoot scouts that are hunkered down in terrain due to 10cm LOS! ?There was slightly less than 10cm of terrain in the way to one unit of the Rangers because of the "cross" shape of the building, but the Sappers couldn't get near enough to the other ones to shoot them. ?Very odd?)

The Guardians march forward, grabbing cover.
Thunderbolts 2 dive in to fire on the broken Revenant, but its holofields protect it.
The zippy Aspect Warhost races out of the Wraithgate on a double and gets the Sappers in the Swooping Hawks' zones of control.
Heavy Tank Co 1 doubles to fire on the Aspect Warhost, placing a single Blast marker.
The Supreme Commander encourages his HQ to sustain fire on the broken Revenant, and the eventually do, but they do no damage.
Rough Riders 2 march after the battered Revenant, chasing it like wolves after a wounded animal?
End of Turn:
Both squadrons of aircraft pick up Blast markers on the way out.
The Rangers and SoV 2 fail to regroup, even with the help of the now onboard Autarch.
The lone Siegfried fails to rally.
