I really liked both of those armies. Really pretty with solid colours where nothing stroke out too strongly.
Nice introducing game you had there. Hope you got her hooked.

Thanks guys,
The Lord of Battles is one of my favorite Epic miniatures. I am hoping to make a 40K one at some point but thats another story. I have made up most of the army so far just waiting on a Juggernaut to arrive before finishing assembly and starting painting. Will have to finish off a lot of other projects before starting on the 28mm Lord of Battles though.
You have some grand conversions there for 40K - especially the Rough Riders
Cheers. It looks like DRM are making some really great miniatures that I can use to convert that army to 6mm scale as well using their jungle human infantry and alien lizard riders. It might actually be easier to complete the grand scheme in 6mm scale, there was supposed to be 30 lizard riders (ie rough riders), all my infantry units were meant to be mounted on giant lizards with howdas (chimera proxies) and my battle tanks were supposed to be the same giant lizards with cybernetically linked weapons systems. I am not sure if it will ever get finished, but in Epic scale it would me much easier to sculpt the big lizards, and with DRM producing such good proxies for what I want .
Nice introducing game you had there. Hope you got her hooked.
Thanks but that wasn't actually the intro game, that was just me and my regular gaming partner trying out the lists. Will be taking the armies down to the local gaming club this Sunday.

Played two games down at the local games club to introduce one of the guys to Epic using these armies. He wanted to play guard and picked up the mechanics very quickly (being a very experienced gamer) in fact he beat me in both games. In the first I was just trying to start titanic battles with the titan vs titan etc but in the second game I just played normally, he had pretty much picked up all the mechanics, used his higher number of activations to move up and take out my titan with the rough riders, supported by his titan, despite my keeping the tactical marines in close support (which killed the pesky riders in the resaulting in the resounding supporting fire). Left with not much on the table I took the titan out but couldn't come back to take any objectives so he won 3-1. Was really good playing with those sized armies we finished two games really quickly, I definitely prefer that then the intro scenarios personally (especially for experienced gamers who pick up the basics pretty fast).
This has lead to much discussion about a multiscale campaign game system using everything from Inquisitor, AI, BFG, Epic and 40K in all of its different sizes and forms. Which is great because thats exactly how I like gaming.
