I actually pre-ordered the Mauridian ships, they really were great models. When wave 1.5 came out as they switched casters Mike, the former owner, actually offered a 40% discount on the recasts for all those who had ordered wave 1. His means of doing business were phenomenally better than DCG's thus far.
As to the current circumstances, I can't really see their line selling very well after they alienated a part of the starship gaming community like they did with their decision. They kind of shot themselves in the foot... twice.
Here's to hoping they sell it, I remember a couple of the wave 2 CAD models that were planned. As much as I liked the first wave the second had some awesome ships in it. If those see the light of day I'm sure many people will be happy.

The issue is that the 'masters' are CAD designs (as far as I am aware) rather than the traditional greens, which limits the selection of potential buyers with the technology to run the line.
