Does anyone own any of the SG fighters and bombers, either Imperial or Chaos?
I'm trying to get some decent pictures of them. The ones on the SG website are tiny.

Can someone please take a picture or two and post them for me?

(My son and I are planning some BFG games using fighters/bombers rather than capital ships, so I need to sculpt some bigger versions. That's why I need the pics.)
Regards,
Reaver

Okay, finally found some top-down shots of Imperial Furies and Starhawks - after days of Internet and magazine searching, I embarrassingly found them in the BFG rulebook... ???

Still can't find Chaos stuff, so if anyone does, please let me know!
regards,
Reaver

Fantastic! Just the sort of thing I needed.
One question - what's the Avenger? Is it a Torpedo Bomber?
Thanks again for your help.

BTW, I've started on the Fury Interceptor - pics will follow (unless it's a total disaster...)
Regards,
Reaver

Okay, so the plan is to do a fighter and a bomber fro the Imperials, and the same for Chaos. Then I can mould them and cast as many as I need for our planned AC games of BFG.

So I've started with the Imperial Fury Interceptor. This group of Sculpey pieces were baked and left to cool. But they will be a Fury... Oh yes.

Trust me. ???

regards,
Reaver

After the Sculpey pieces had cooled, I spent about an hour sanding them down. Then I superglued the bits together. Here's how it looked.

Then I looked at my reference pics ( I know, I know, I should do that while I'm working, not just at the end, but I have more enthusiasm than brain cells... )
I realised the proportions were totally wrong - so I pulled it apart and sanded some more...

Finally I've added some details with Green Stuff, and the Fury interceptor is about finished - what do you think?

That looks great!
Could You please post a picture with a "normal" model for size comparison?

There is a profile shot of the plane int he rulebook, plus I think from the fluff they are two man fighters.

Hi Reaver,

What scale is it?

Looks great no matter the scale though... :)
