Mwahahahaha!

Speed painting Speed Freeks!

90 - count 'em - 9-0! - light vehicles and bike stands started this morning as primer only.*  They are all now table-top standard with flock.

Go Neal!  Go Neal!

They still need detailing like glyphs and flames and stuff on the nob bikers' flags, but if you're going to bitch about that after I painted 90 models in a day you can summarily bite me.

Exactly where is that beer-drinking smiley when you need one. ???

*Actually 3 were painted and ~10 were 1/3 painted, but close enough.

No Decaf at your house, huh Neal ! :D ?And I'm now working on both the Big & L'il E40K Gargants ... Which I think are a lot like the E:A versions, save for a few more new weapons ? ? And added some small doors to my Gorgon Mk.2s & Mk.2b/3s ... got some small railroad model hatches ... glued them in the back troop compartment, that would enter into the Driver's station and Turret basket ... Kind'a like the M2 BFV ... ? Looks pretty cool ! :D

Now that's a paint-load to make most people's arms go numb with inertia... :confuse:  still, you've made a start - often half the battle - good luck with its continuation Neal

Yesterday I finished painting this Achilles Biomech for my Urban War Syntha team:

That's this team finished, although Urban Mammoth have just put the rulebook for 'Metropolis', a version of Urban War which involves larger battleforces; I've looked at this and decided that I'll eventually expand this army to a 1,000 point Metro force.  But I don't know when I'll have the time or money to do that for the time being, ha! :D

Great work all. Nice to see a good mix of stuff is still being done by the Forum members!

Krooza - you know what I think of your work mate. One day i'll finally pluck up courage to paint up that Gobsmasha lurking around my workshop :;):

Neal - Good haul in one sitting! Although, As mentioned - where's the pics??? :p

Firestorm, I'm trying to ignore your post as Urban war is one of the lines I try to delete from my memory forfear of starting another unfinishable project. Nice work though - you o make it look even more tempting!

& Really nice scorps Pulsar. You got the green just right in my opinion. A lot of people go too yellow with it, leaving little to contrast any yellow details, but thats a good job there - I look forward to seeing more!

Anyway, Its a long while since I've posted on this thread myself.

Lately, my own personal projects have been bordering on "work" even closer than usual lately, painting up a large Kraytonian army from Dark Realm which, whilst it is my own force, is going to Salute at the end of the month so its still on a deadline!

But the main reason for posting is I've been doing something very different for me this weekend, whilst still possibly of interest.

Building scenery is a little out of my usual boundries, but never one to shrink from a challenge, I've been hard at it over the last few days. working on a table for Salute!

Its only in its early stages, but as something pretty different for me, I'm (finally!) becoming quite pleased with it.

Many more WIP shots, as well as many of the armies too, can be found here

Keep up the good work one & all. I dont have enough time to post here a great deal these days, but its still one of the best sources for insipiration to me :D

This week I'll be working on....trying to decide what to work on next!  Got a lot of iron's in the fire, gotta finish up some starship rules I've been working on for some time now in time for a con, got some CAV minis that need some paint before the con, got to make and paint some ships for aforementioned game before the con, have a bunch of 6mm stuff primed and ready to paint that I'd like to work on if the con weren't 38 days away.  Ugh, I'll probably end up bouncing back and forth between them all as time permits.  Pics sure to follow...eventually.

Finished this:

FW Custodian
FW Emisssary x2
FW Castellan x3
FW Warden x4

In the process:
FW Protector
FW Castellan
FW Warden x2

I would have posted pics but given the fact Gothicomp 2007 is about to start I'm gonna wait with those....

(I am satisfied how they turned out, shining varnish created a cool effect).

I've actually had a number of emails asking if I'm a full time DRM eployee.

Well no, whilst I have been putting in enough hours lately to count as such, a lotof these have been working very late into the night whilst I also try to complete numerous other commissions.

Among them, I've had the chance to do some more shere sillyness in 6mm.

96 baccus Greeks.

each with a unique shield....

after about 80 of them, I found myself signing one. Not very greek, but I'm kinda proud of it & at least he can get lost inthe crowd if the customer wants! :D

left to right:
Scorpion, Greek Bust silhouette, random symbol, my signature, bow, tangent spiral symbol.

cant stop the painting really, though I had to show this one off to prove its not just DRM here at MB HQ - just VERY long working hours!!

I have probably 150 stands of Epic Ork infantry waiting to be painted.  Tedious work, but I want to get it done so I can move on to my IG.
