Close battle. Bummer that you lost the Warlock so fast. I know how devastating they can be in assaults.

Yep, it sucked for me... but my opponent was quite pleased!  *laugh*

If my Revenants hadn't failed their activiation in Turn 4 I could've probably won... *sigh* *laugh*

Still, it was a very fun game... though I don't think I've seen Yme-Loc win a game yet!  *laugh*

Wow, no SC for the guard! :)

Surprising result, I had assumed the eldar would have been able to mince the tanks, they have a lot of anti ra stuff - I blame the power fist :)

I guess when you're gonna stand and shoot a lot, the re-roll isn't really needed... though the Shadowswords failing in Turn 1 was a bit of a stinker.  *laugh*

Well, that many Battlecannons can make short work of just about anything... but I supposed a 1050 point formation *should* be powerful!   :D

Chroma do you have a Gate of Vaul? and if you do can i see it? :)  :p

i've been looking around and doing some drawings and my main ideas are the one on the front of the Swordwind book or the one in Dawn of War Dark Crusade as one half of the gate.

Nice battle. Seems the Eldar ran out of luck at critical moments.

And they always go for the Warlock, don?t they... :;):

I don't actually have one built and just use the "regular" Eldar Gate.

I'm going to probably do something with Battlefleet Gothic Eldar solar sails to represent it when I get to it.

Nice batrep once again.  I know the pain of losing a Warlock first thing in a battle.  Dwarf Supreme was at the tournament where a pair of IG Shadowswords took aim and broke it as the first activation, then a subsequent shot made him explode like a poodle in a microwave. :glare:

Yeah, Eldar Titans are fragile things... which is why, except for Yme-Loc, I rarely ever take them.

Honestly, I'd rather have 3 Windrider Troupes and a Wraithgate for the cost of a Revenant Pair, to say nothing about the more expensive Titans!  *laugh*

i've now got a nice bit of foam, plasicard and about 15 drawings in the middle of my painting desk, to make me start it soon. :D  :)

Have you tried to field an Yme-Loc force Pulsar?  Or Lugganoth?

How'd they play?

i've tried a Yme-Loc 3000 point list against my friend who has Tau (mainly because he was using a planet falling manta that was full of battlesuits) and i really liked the list, the style was different from the Eldar i normaly use (all aspect warrior formations, a few swords of vaul, two Night spinner formations, an engine of Vaul or Two, nightwings and of course Two Revenant Titans) so having a fast farseer more titans and some wraithguard and wraithlords for support and of corse a free Avatar which i don't normal take (no Farseer) was a nice change.

all in all i think i need to play a few more games (probley E&C with his Death core or nids) to really get an idea of how the list plays.

Batreps, post batreps!  *laugh*

Here's an easy form to fill out as you play to make writing batreps easier!

Thanks that is a really cool thing!!!

we didn't do a battle report because there were alot of proxys on his side (he has not got his tanks yet)  and it was only his 3ed game of Epic ever!

one thing about the list that i think you could do is have the option to get ONE Revenant Titan For 325 points OR TWO for 650 OR THREE for 975 as part of the Titan section :)
