A new epic order arrived today, and once again it was cheaper than I expected.

Eg the 'catalogue price' I expected, vs the 'list price' actually stated on my order form:
7 GBP = 5.95
9 GBP = 7.66
18 GBP = 15.32
etc.

About 15%

Does this happen to anyone else?  Is it just because they feel sorry for me being way out here in NZ paying 8 GBP postage? I almost feel I should keep quiet about it in case the miracle stops!  :blues:  :D

They actually removed the VAT because you were outside the EU.....neat.  I always wondered why GW didn't do that like every other online store.... but it appears they actually do.

So does that mean if I have a friend outside EU, I can get them to order a whole load of stuff and get him to send it to me labelled as gifts?

Presuming the savings cover the cost of postage.

And yet I never get a VAT discount from Forge World. Ugh.

Yeah... however since the euro/pound exchange course is rather good for me I pay less as what I would expect from the catalogue.

The exchange rate for us vs the Pound is slighly worse than horrible, but the Aussie is doing ok vs the Greenback.  Pity it wasn't the other way round.....the 15% discount rarely makes up for the cwap exchange rate.  If you factor in GWUS bizarre postage rates though....
