Some quetsions concerning that list:

Is the BL list playtesting completed?
If not, where is it discussed?
Finally I noticed that the fire arcs of some weapons of the Titans of that list are not listed (weapons which are probably not able to fire 360 degrees).

EDIT: Also some of the weapon ranges are probably not the new ones (most Titan weapons have 60cm range now AFAIK as per AMTL list).

Playtesting's done.  Most of the later development was done by invitation.

The list was actually submitted to Andy and Jervis on the deadline for the Chaos lists in Sept 05.  The "official" status of the lists has been in limbo pending the determination of what minis would be released.

Since then there were some minor tweaks so the BL vault list isn't absolutely 100%.  Most notably, the daemon summoning rules were adjusted and I have a vague memory of the weapon arcs being added as well.  The L&D list in the vault has the correct summoning rules.  In case of conflict in the summoning rules, the L&D is the correct version.

If you have feedback on the list, you can either post it here or in the L&D section of the EA Focus HQ subforum.  The lists have been out and stable long enough to consider some tweaks as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to see the Chaos aircraft names & stats tweaked so that they match the models that FW produces.

Heh.  I've said my peace on it... to E&C even.

I'm sort of inclined to run with the Hell-designation planes in an Alpha Legion list...


As far as suggestions and tweaking to the BL list, my opinion on how the entire Epic development process should and is proceeding is in the recent AMTL commentary.

What's the point of writing the list as including a model that doesn't exist, when it could just as easily use a model that does exist, just because there was a communications SNAFU a while back?

Strikes me as personal opinions affecting something they shouldn't TBH.

The ERC is looking for final comments before the Chaos lists become official with the release of the sprues, so ante up ASAP.

At this point there isn't time to test anything new but we have a last shot for tweaks (so, no Hellblades added, E&C).

??? I'm not sure what you are asking, E&C.

The chaos infantry is supposed to happen in the Feb/March SG release.

S-p-r-u-e is the correct spelling.  Some people spell it s-p-r-e-w but that's a bird, not a moulding term.

I was asking because the word you used was 'sprues' (Multiple). Seemed odd to me. :)

Ok, some possible mistakes in the list:


Chaos Titan Legion War Engines and Chaos Navy and Aerospace Units:
Restrictions missing.


Weapon ranges and fire arcs (Titans):

Banelord:
Havoc Missile Rack: Should be "Fixed Forward" (as Warlord Carapace weapons).
Hellstrike Cannon and Doomfist (gun stats): Why "Fixed Forward" and not "Forward" like Warlord arm weapons?
Tail (gun stats): No arc: Deliberate?

Ravager:
Doom Burner and Death Storm: Should be "Forward" (as Reaver arm weapons). Short(er) range of these deliberate?
Tail (gun stats): No arc: Deliberate?

Feral:
Death Storm and Hellmouth: Should be "Forward" (as Warhound arm weapons).
