Nice report and an excellent response from the Imperials.

What's next!

Excellent report as usual Chroma. You are missing a picture on turn 1 however.

Is the picture showing the revealed Devastators and the 3 Tyranid formations not showing up?  It shows for me when I review the thread.

Those were the only formation on the board at the time, so I didn't take an "End of Turn" shot.

The next planned mission is a "rescue/relief" mission with the Guard (and maybe Marine allies).

If you recall, in the last Guard mission, "Cleanse", the IG Supreme Commander was stuck in a Cathedral surrounded by Bugs.  We thought it would be interesting to see how he got himself out of that mess... *laugh*

Excellent idea, looking forward to it.

Duck and cover only really works to a limited extent whilst hiding from Tyranid monsters...

Great battle, my favourite bit being the early killing of the Harridan - take that big bug!  :D  Nice to see devastators actually shooting something substantial to death at range.

Yeah, the Devastator Detachments were definitely the prize formations this game; being able to get the Dreads and Rhinos and not worry about garrisoning made them a very effective choice.
