I was happy I got through all the assembly.

Here it is.

I also made a decision.  While I really like the Ork battleship I think the model is too weedy to be a real battleship.

It is bigger than a standard Imp cruiser but smaller than a battleship.

I think ork ship need to be bigger than their Imperial counter part.

So I'm going to purchase another deathdealer to act as my second Ork Hammer Battlecruiser.

While I think of something to convert for the battleship proper.

What to you guys think.

Here is the comparison photo.

Very cool CC!

When I finally get around to doing BFG Orks will be my first fleet. Curious - what sort of assembly time did you have for those?

Hi CC,
the Hammer is a nice ship, but you're right, it does look a bit small. Nice fleet - nice to see these guys in the docks! And 4 hours isn't bad if you cleaned them up as well.      :D  :D

Nice work, and indeed 4 hours is reasonable.

Question for anyone with an Ork fleet.

Is the small flight stand enough to hold the Kill Cruiser amd the Terror ship up?

Or do you recommend mounting them to a larger base (40mm) and marking the smaller base area for game purposes.  Please let me know.

Hi Luis,

I discovered that some of those monstrous Ork ships aren't held up well by any base.

I glued washers under several of mine to hold them up.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Some people also mount the larger vessels on CDs - glue the normal large base to the CD for stability.

Your be proud Krooza...

"remeber that order I picked up...repeat it"

Do double above and that the fleet.  Still gotta work on the battleship and the hulk.

Nice one... after all Orkz are all about numberz.
You got yaself alot of shooty goodness there but your gona need a lot of them or they'll not hit much.
I reakon Orkz are by far the most expencive fleet to build coz of the numbers required. Mind you a few Rokz n a nice big 'Ulk will fill your fleet out a bit.
