Today I got bored waiting for my epic mail order to arrive for my Sky Lords, so I decided to get round and convert one of my Mark II Land raiders into a mark III Prometheus.
The desire to convert it to a Mk III as well as a Prometheus was mainly Redrams fault, him and his amazing conversion guide.
As you can see I came nowhere near his Godlike skills, but it was fun to try.
I still have to do some work on the heavy bolter barrels and the scanner that replaces the chasis weapon, but overall I am happy with it. Especailly since I didn't melt it when I stript the paint. I only have access to analytical acetone. (about 90% by volume)

Looks good to me. And will be even better when painted.  Me, I'm planning to go the easy way and just use the new land raiders. That's because I mostly have old plastic and metal raiders and the two E:A patterns I do have (and have no idea whatsoever where they came from) would look out of place anyway.
