So I made it at last: The EPIC-ARMAGEDDON DARK ANGELS ARMY LIST IS HERE!!!

Get it from yahoogroup NOW - or they'll treat you with some serious plasma.

For those who don't know of our Yahoogroup: It's on:

groups.yahoo.com/group/epica
and our new group,
groups.yahoo.com/group/epica_lists

You have to register on groups.yahoo.com first, then join the group, the epica_lists, cause for the epica you'd need moderator approval and our mod is out of reach for a while.

For those who have registered on yahoogroup, but don't want to wait for their membership being approved, or have problems with download: E-mail me at:

the_fifth_horseman@interia.pl

To receive the list in e-mail.

For those who have no valid e-mail account, I cannot help you.

The file is write-protected with a password, as all my army lists will soon be. Altough I trust you guys (and girls, if any are there, too), I don't want some "joker" who "accidentally" got on the yahoogroup to mess up with my work and upload it elsewhere as his own. I'm sure that all of you will be able to understand this.

5th-Horseman,

Thanks for sharing the list. I'll look it over when I get a chance. I'm sure that it will be up to the high standard of all of your lists.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Between TFH, PG, and a couple of others we might just get all the founding chapters done soon ?

Interesting how there has been such a rash of Marine Lists of late.

Thanks for the heads up Horseman.

My advice is to convert your lists to a .PDF format, as MS Office password protection is ridulously easy to crack. I mean anyone can do it now days, even without previous experience in those kind of matters.

I don't have any program for Doc to PDF converting, and a really crappy home PC... I tried once to get the free PDF Factory program, but it didn't work.
Besides, if someone has time to crack the password, he has time to write his own list, without stealing my work. Right?

Hello one and hello all.

I have two messages for you: one bad and one good.

BAD ONE: The bad one is, that I won't continue the Dark Angels list in its' current form, as I have undertaken a project much grander in it's proportions.

GOOD ONE: The good one is: Fear not! For the new project I mentioned is... The Epic Index Astartes!

Yes, that's right! Epic Index Astartes!

The grand objective is to cover all 18 known First Founding Chapters, including both the righteous loyalist warriors of the God-Emperor (or lickspittles of the false Emperor, in another point of view), and the blasphemous heretics known as the Traitor Legions (or the rightful masters of the galaxy, from other point of view). Wherever your loyality is, you will be almost certain to find somehting for yourself within this compilation.

In the first version, though, not all of the First Founding Chapters will be present, with some of them left out due to my lack of knowledge about them. Noone is perfect.

As you know the Dark Angels ARE the First Founding Chapter, actually the first one founded, so their list will not be continued in the current independent form, but instead incorporated into EIA. This said, I hope you'll enjoy the compilation when it's finally released.

Currently I'll release some part-completed pieces, including Dark Angels, Iron Hands, Ultramarines, Salamanders and Raven Guard. This version is numbered 0.0, as it's work-in-progress, but please feel free to give suggestions and make comments.

Hi Guys,

I was perusing the fluff in my mate's edition of the new IG Codex (Have you seen it? ?There is a pic of a full Regiment in 40k scale...Madness!)

Anyhow...the new 40k lists allows an IG player to take Imperial Cult priests aloing as an insipiring type character. ?As this attribute has already been taken by Chaplains and Commissars, how could we represent an Imperial Preachers on the field?

I am thinking as a Supreme Commander's re-roll can only be used for Initiative tests....the Priest could allow a re-roll for Rally tests ONLY at the end of the turn. ?Thus he brings a unique flavour.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a neat idea. Havent been playtesting much though, so my vote on that is rather irrelevant.

As for the 40K regiment, it does look great, but unfortunately you wont be seeing it at any shows - its a (rather well done) copy & paste job of a single company and various supporting units overlayed. Does look good though!

..I had a  sneking suspicion when I saw the picture that that was what it might be... the ammount of models there would make an extremely respectable Epic army... :D
