anyone here remember the precursor to Necromunda, Confrontation which was published in WD? | So am I. However, like the other GW games that I've taken an interest in, I'm sure it's insidious. Bit like chicken pox really, once you've caught it will go away eventually, but it remains lurking in your system waiting to ambush you at the worst possible time 
As for Confrontation, it was just before my time I think. Wasn't it around just before WD 136, which was my earliest copy?

IIRC (as they are in storage) it was around WD 116.
My earliest WD was 49

Heh.. I don't remember it first hand, but yep, it would have been about then- I think it was in WD 121 there was a short piece following up the original article....
As for books- yes, the Konrad books are dire, along with the original Inquisitor books (they are interesting I reckon though)...
I would just reccomend the Warhammer Genieveve (sp??) books though, they are absoloutly superb IMO, really exciting and interesting, with very gritty, savage details that are rather chilling and give you the feeling of how nasty the world there is...
