That pile of bases costs 9GBP, and includes 2 types of cavalry, 3 types of foot troops, chariots and command bases.
Here's the cavalry.

The legions - one type has missed the photo op - they look like barbarian auxiliaries. These are a close-ranked legion and an as-yet undetermined more open formation.

On to WW1. The French and German troops and machine guns and arty are identical - no space for different helmets here - no worries as I intend to use them as Venetians and their enemies. The difference between army packs (same prie as the ancients) is the composition, the French having more arty, the Germans more mgs and less cavalry. A French artillery train is particularly nice.
The troops, incidentally, and crawling or scrabbling forwards.

Can I make a request to see them with something to give some scale? Perhaps an Epic stand? Thanks.

Aye aye, sir! :D
Here you go CS, that's French infantry (crawling in the mud), French cavalry, an artillery piece (the largest base) and a St. Chamond tank posing in front of giant Epic Termies and a Rhino.  :O
