In the spirit of RowanAlpha's suggestions, I'd propose a simple swap of Nova Cannons for Bombardment Cannons(or Torpedoes).
Seems logical enough IMO.
When it comes to the SWs, I'd say their case is quite unique too. These ships are not venerable, they are...how do I put it politely...stolen. In these cases, I think there needs to be a fuggling in the conversion from IN to SW. I'm not entirely sure how to place it, but I think you know what I mean by this. Perhaps the VBB thing is a good mechanic to represent all this, but I suspect there's a middle ground that needs to be achieved.

The VBB generally solves the larger/more powerful than regular cruiser type ships. The problem is the regular cruiser sized ones. Then again, the SW are not really a big chapter if we follow fluff. Hence a 0-1 option for the regular cruiser sized ships can be feasible.
Also since these are technically "creatively re-acquired", I do not know how they can convert the existing weapons to bombardment cannons without aid from the tech marines and once they know the Wolves have another ship in their hands, I think the IN with assistance from the Inquisition would come a knockin.

Modified my Space Wolves Fleet List. Added the Captured Cruiser rules as well as option to change NC for BC, added two re-rolls option for the Long Fang and edited some text.
