I'd like to announce two Epic:Armegeddon events during Council of Five Nations XXIX, October 6-8 in Albany, New York. The first is a three round tournament for 3000 point armies held all day Saturday (16 player spaces available); standard E:A tournament rules (section 6.1) apply during the tournament games. The second event is a Grand Melee held on Sunday morning (8 player spaces available); players will be assigned to one of two sides by the GM (your's truely) and the game will be played using the Simultaneous Team Game rules (section 6.6). I'll announce objectives for each team and player on the day of the Melee.

I've listed the allowed army lists in a thread on the [EPIC] Discussion forum of the Special Games site, and I'll be posting further details there as I finalize them.

While *I* think the Epic games are the most important, there are almost 100 events using lots of other game systems, including Full Thrust, BattleTech, historical minatures, one of the largest Star Fleet Battles tournaments in the country, and board games. ?There's even a "kid friendly" track, so bring the family! ?Preregister for a discount, and in groups of 3 or more for even more savings.
