Dafrca, I've long considered myself your friend and still do, but I ask you not to abandon me and my thread in this time of stress.

I understand that you've had a hard time at work with employees acting uncouth, but my thread, my blog, isn't your work and I'm not one of your employees... I'm your friend.

I'm the guy who's fought with you before, visited you before, listened to you before, supported you before and was the first to welcome you back after you left these forums for awhile to take care of personal issues.

I'm also the guy who reads you thread here without fail and never condemns you for posting OT items that are not strictly hobby-related. In fact, I enjoy that fact that many of us are free to post about OT subjects such as Tas, yourself and me. I like the fact that so many of us are fully-developed human beings and not just simple hobby caricatures here. It's that very fact that makes Epicomms a meaningful community for me and not just a hobby discussion board full of strangers and near-strangers.

I would ask you to stand by me and support me while "me and mine" are suffering in a war. I do realize that I've posted here about that war and I know that it can be stressful, but I need your support and the support of others like you who give a damn in an often cruel and callous world.

Please don't abandon my thread and me, by proxy.

Please do not bring this subject to my thread. I do not want to talk about nor participate in political and/or religious arguments. I respect your right to do so in your thread. I do not want it brought over to mine.

I would also ask you to refrain from assuming you fully understand me or my problems and the role this forum and my hobby play in my ability to deal with them.

You asked that if we did not want to read about those issues, then we should not read your thread, so I am not going to.

As far as I am concerned that ends this. I can not see how my respecting your wishes and selecting the solution you suggested could be seen as abandonment. You set up the situation and I followed your requests. End of story. No need for you to try and play this as a lack of support.

Please do not continue this as it was your wishes I am following.

You have done it again. You just could not be happy until you looked like the martyr. Your disrespect for my request to drop it combined with your need to push it even further is unacceptable. Last time I walked away from this forum in order to get away from your attacks and fake ?Poor Me? posts. Well this time I am not going to just walk away.

So let?s see, the fact you wanted to reserve the right to talk about what ever subject you wanted seems clear and the only solution for those who do not want to read it seems clear.
