I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with the list. A lot of my victory had to do with my enemies not really knowing the list well and not understanding how to fight it (Which frankly I think accounts for a lot of the AMTL wins). The list itself is full of tough-to-kill units. But much like an IG Army centered around Russ Companies, you're giving up flexibility for it. The mistake my opponents made were largely that they failed to kill my supporting units. DS got really worked over due to his bad rolling on initiative checks for his Guard. And really poor shooting on turn 1 for Deathstrikes and Shadowswords. Had they worked right the game would have been very different (I'd have  been down a warlord and my supreme commander on turn 1, and he'd have had BTS for certain). Likewise with game 2. If I hadn't won iniative on turn 2 of that game it likely would have been a very different beast. As it allowed me to off ToadChild's Chosen before they could assault. Game 3 was because ePilgrim's Deathstrikes failed to activate on turn 1, and he chose to attack the wrong target with them. Again, failing to take out my support units. Though he also went after my artillery warlord not my BTS.

Hi

get a game lasr week with the AMTL vs Eldars

don't post it on Battlestats as it was not a GT game

the goal of the game was the total annhilation of the opponent army. We play on an urban table originaly for WH 40K Urban War rules. We play six turn as in a WH40K game.

I was testing my future list for a Tornament in Lyon next november.

I win the Game ... my first victory ... ?:D
i was very happy of my list and of my titans ... except for the HToH one ... don't know really how to ?use it well ... was really shy to launch it in fight and at the end don't see if it is good in HtoH ... but the CML was usefull ... On the paper HtoH Titans seem very powerfull but dont' know if i will one day see this on the table. Any opinions about Close Combat Titans ?
The support titan do a really good work. Warhound Pack was deadly in this configuration.
And the 3rd one as usually was a storm of fire ;) .. l love this one ...

At least i get chances at dices and my opponent not ... ?think this is the reason of my victory.

Think I will zap the CC titan and add two more lonewolf WH (one with Light Inferno Gun, second with light Multiple Rocket Launcher)

:)

Think this game showed the very gret firepower of the AMTL (with the dices at my side) but think that in a GT game i will have lost dur to the 5 activations.

The HTH titan weapons I tend to use as defensive weapons. They're EXCELLENT at repelling assaults and making people think twice about droping Terminators into my Warlords (Do I REALLY want to assault into 6x MW 2+ attacks?). I'd recommend, for offense-oriented titans (especially one like that reaver) that you give them a pair of Laser Burners and a Melta-Cannon. That'll give you 8x MW fire-fight attacks and another 1x TK fire-fight attack. Plus 6 base attacks. Nasty. 15 attacks where 9 of them don't allow armor saves! All hitting at 3+. And your shields work in a fire-fight but not in base-to-base. Power-fists are only really good if you plan to go toe-to-toe with something like a Bio Titan or the like. It makes things like Hydraphants twitchy to charge a 650 point Reaver with a good chance to tear them in half and take relatively little damage in return.

I'd recommend kicking the Warlord for a Reaver with 2x Plasma Destructors and 1x Plasma Cannon. That'll give you 4 tac-weapons and at least 1 on each titan. And it'll free up 200 points to spend taking, say, Carapace Multilasers on both Reavers. Then, to make one your BTS, put a Veteran Princepts on it. That'll leave you 50 points for whatever else you feel like. I'm really unconvinced that the Plasma Destructors or Plasma Cannon are worth it at present... 4x MW 4+ Slow Firing just doesn't feel that impressive to me. Non-slow-firing would feel over powered, though.
