PS I'm back in the loop. Looking to revive the online campaign project!

ALELUYA!!! & now i would be able to help with the BFG campaign part development, as i have been playing a BFG campaign for the past 2 months so now i have some experience with that game as well. Maybe we could try to launch it when Medua V ends (so fun would continue on).

Thanks for your interest!!! This evening we played the battle at Fraggit Beach. You should have seen the battlefield, as we managed to make a beach-like scenery, with the sea, the ork submarines at the shore and a small ork village built around them. Unfortunately this time there was no camera (but if someone is interested, i could make a BatRep using schematics, like in the first BatRep). Unfortunately i botched it when i deployed a gargant, so we will have to replay the battle.

Well, at last we replayed the Fraggit Beach Battle, with almost the same result!! some of the most memorable moments of the game where the destruction of two Overlord airships by seldom Oddboyz which where among my two Big Gunz units, the incredible push the squat robots made and the destruction of a hearthguard unit after an assault in which it did no damage but received a kill...by a gretchin stand! (maybe the descendants of Grom where at that gretchin stand :S). Unfortunately for me, a robot unit ended the game broken but at 60% strenght, so i did not manage to destroy the squat army, which withdrawn and is now at 80% strenght. It seems clear that now the eldar are coming against me!

Did you make any changes to the campaign rules for the squat army in particular? Or did you use the rules intact?  Thanks for the reporting.

Excuse me for not answering earlier, orangesm.

We modified slightly the campaign rules. The main changes were:

- All players begun with only one army and one territory
- The eldar got just one movement per turn
- Eldar and orks could not field spaceships (as it would be against the fluff)
- Squats could not use goliath megacannons (they were too slow and most should have become broken after the crash)
- Defending forces could use airplanes

Hi again!
There have been a few weeks since my last post. In the meantime we played campaign turn 9:

As the ork WAAAAGH marched south to meet Squat menace, the eldars again tried to recapture Maedhra Pass.

We have just fight the Second Battle of Fraggit Beach. It was a very bizarre battle, as the squat fielded an army made of just infantry and light vehicles! Unfortunately, he didn't bring with him ANY antiairsupport, in a battle in which i fielded 6 fightabommas (that's the most lucky selection of troops i have ever done :S). The battle lasted fo 3 turns until the squat player conceded annhilation. So there would be some time before we see again an squat offensive. In the other hand, the eldar player  has an interesting battle ahead: if he is able to defeat the ork garrison, the WAAAGH will have to go after him, but if he is defeated...well, it could be almost the end of the campaign.

You can bet it is... the eldar army was defeated so soundingly that if not because of a single surviving Falcon rallying it would have been completely wiped out as for the campaign rules. Now we are talking about giving the campaign a final, climatic battle between two ork armies and a combined eldar/squat one, as it seems that the WAAAGH has become almost unstopable (well, the truth is that my orks haven't lost a battle yet :S).
But don't worry, as if we finally fight that battle we will do an elaborate battlereport for it (with pictures and all  :) )
