I just lucked into a complete set of the old Leading Edge Games Aliens miniatures...

I think the Dropship and APC are going to have an unfortunate accident involving vulcanized rubber and resin...

Seriously though... those are damn cool looking vehicles.

I just do *not* understand with the availabilty of desktop modelling software why miniatures aren't keeping pace with computer games.

Battletech miniatures are a prime example... they seem to be getting worse as time goes on not better.

I hope they will not be hurt too badly. Rubber can be very dangerious in the wrong hands.  :;):

Battletech miniatures are a prime example... they seem to be getting worse as time goes on not better. I agree and I also do not understand it. I look at some of the stuff out on the net in "Show me" sites of the kinds of things people have made with the 3D CAD/CAM and wonder what would happen if that stuff was output. It would raise the bar for sure. But for some reason it has not yet happened to the extent you would think it could.
