They are on their way to Tas !   So he may take some pics ! But they were about about right ... for 15mm !  I was going to use'm as Megasauruses (sp.?) for Epic, but will use 40K Liz swarm instead !   :D

Anyone who wants to....  :p

Serious, most of the ones I have seen have been minor conversions of existing Colonial, Wild West, or other such lines.

My favorite were some British Colonials where the person cut off the Rifles, then added "larger" barrels and used sprue to all scopes to them. Painted them up and they looked great as Dino Hunters.

I made one out of a Peter Pig Wild West figure. Just added a scope and that was it. Had a friend like it so much I gave it to him.

I also saw some done with Prussians from a line of Franco-Prussian war figures. He added them to an Elephant from a line of ancient Indian figures. Made a great Hunting Party.

So, once you deside scale, let me know cause if you go 15mm I have other ideas etc.

If you go 28mm, I will have less ideas and just more spiritual support.

The balance continues to sway with 15mm once again gaining more and more momentum

If you decide 28mm Tas check out Copplestone Casting's "High Adventure" figs... they're quite naf!

Some of the dino's from the lost worlds sub-series might make decent 15mm figs as well.

I think VSF is one of the areas where either 15mm or 28mm has good advantages. Both offer soem great opportunities.

What it seems to come down to, more in VSF then in other areas I have gamed, is what kind of game do you want to play?

I love the visual of Steam Tanks crossing an open field while the Iron Giant attacks the Air Ship above. Massive battles can be done is 28mm (some great on line sources prove it), but in the space most of us have?

I love the massive battles, and yet I want some character so 15mm works for me. But if you want a skirmish game or even RPG level stuff, then 28mm VSF is the way to go.

I made my selection based on what I love.  :;):

I agree, this is a very nice line.

Found the one picture I remembered on the web. This one comes from displacedminiatures.com. Some great stuff on this site.

Notice how they just "enlarge" the rifles and added scopes.
