You all may have already heard of this, but a friend sent me the link to a trailer and I was blown away by the visuals.

For those who may not have seen them, here is the URls for the trailers:

Trailer #1

Trailer #2

and

A Walk Through with intro to units etc.

You guys need to check these out. Hope you have sound hooked up too.

I am not much of a "Computer game" person, but this one has gotten my interest at least a little.

It looks cool but I would have to update my computer to play it.  I decided a long time ago to stop playing that game.

"Oh look the hottest new PC game is out...I just have to update my mother board, video card, sound card, and downlaod a butload of drivers to make to run..."

:p

One of the reasons I am not a computer game player. But this one has me thinking.

I've played Battlefront 2,mainly using Charysh's computer. I like it for it's "real time" play.
You do need a really good hookup ,Digital, and a fast processor.
I have heard of the 2142 and really look forward to it...
Keep in mind I will never give up the miniatures, never!

Oh I have no worry that these games will cause me to give up miniatures. Not at least until they get to the point where I can play them as easy as I can my miniatures.

But my son, I could see they could make it where he never gets addicted.

What do you mean paint them, come on Dad, let?s just buy the upgrade.....

...this is why we need to strive to pass on the "craft". There are a lot of detours for our next generation...

Do not know enough about the games to answer. Someone else will have to help you with that one. :D
