Hi,

I just finished painting my Siegemasters army (well, almost... I still have to paint 2 infantry companies and to build/paint some gun emplacements), so I thought I'd share my happiness with you. ?:D

For this army, I've used old IG infantry troops and lots of conversion. The official Siegemasters models are very nice but waaay to expensive for me.

As of today, I have:

60 infantry stands, or 6 Infantry Companies (2 still unpainted)

6 Rapiers
6 Thudd Guns
3 Hellhounds
4 Snipers

18 G?tterd?mmerung Howitzers
18 Bruennhilde transporters
6 Ragnaroks Heavy Tanks (well, Leman Russes "counting as")
6 Blitzen AA guns
3 Shadowswords
2 Deathstrike missile launchers
8 Sappers (old plastic IG Storm Troopers "counting as")

4 Thunderbolts
2 Marauders

64 cm of trenches
150 cm of razor wire
4 bunkers

I'm a bit short on fortified positions, but plan to make some at some point in the future (since Forgeworld no longer makes their nice fortifications).

Anyway, as the prophet said (or was it Elvis? :p), "a little less conversation, a little more action please", so here are the pictures.

Siegemasters troops hold their ground in an Imperial city in ruins...

... when suddenly Necrons appear from nowhere! :alien:

Rapier Laser Destroyers (converted Thudd Guns - the barrel is made of an inverted Mole Mortar)

Thudd Guns (I drilled holes for a better effect)

Blitzen AA guns (Hydra platforms from Forgeworld) and fortifications (also from Forgeworld but now OOP :( )

Howitzers and Bruennhilde transporters - The Howitzers are inverted Mole Mortars and the Bruennhilde transporters are converted Ork tanks (from the Titan Legions box)

A full artillery company

Shadowswords and Air support

That's it! Hope you liked it! ?:)

Looks nice. I like how you used the old plastic to create a good looking army.

Good Job!

Very impressive!
Trench wise I reckomend doing some 'foxholes' sections of trench 40-50mm in length to scatter around and fit in awkward terrain.

I would show my army but the camera broken and they are very well 'tundra' camoflaged. Every outline is broken up very effectively. unfortuently they aren't photogenic so are being repainted French WWI!

Ah, it's wonderful having some great pics to brighten your morning.
Very nice Army Hojyn, very nice indeed, love the field artillery,  not sure about the roller brunhilde but the other two look smart.

Very nice! It looks like a lot of fun to be had.
I also am working on a German type Army. Actually it will be a SM chapter-Die SturmBlitzen- They have the gene seed of the 16th panzer division's top warriors from '42
