Quote (Legion 4 @ 18 April 2006 (20:59)) | Piles of unpainted models ... it's part of my Universe ! | I am glad I am not alone in that. Nice knowing others have lifed it too.

Oh and L4, even in my Space Fleet I have elected to follow the "No Clown" rule. Just thought you would like to know. Going with a SHip Grey with dark wash and light dry brush to bring out the highlights. Only bright color will be some small spots to represent windows maybe and maybe the engines. That is it.

Mind you - space combat is at such vast distances that visual cam is rather unnecessary
And if my fighter were defending the approaches to a gas gant they would have all kinds of swirly colours!
Or maybe what you are looking at is the BATCOMP representation of the battle...

Personally, I worry about the gamer that doesn't have any unpainted miniatures. There are those that believe that such a state is akin to ritual suicide
On a related note, I am also one of the developers for FTJava (PBEM Full Thrust.) If you are lacking opponents to hone your skills against, that is the tool you want.
