No wonder the Valhallans got massacred they're bright blue!   :)

Great pics Jimbo, sounds like a great game :)

No that's the flash on my camera.

They actually look quite effective in a cityfight scene. Very WWI French in many respects.

Very nice paint jobs there, the only criticism I can see,is that your table was too open, not enough cover & too many long fire corridors.Try re-fighting the game using a Mordheim style layout, with very narrow streets & buildings virtually on top of one another.Believe me,it gives a much harder game & is much closer to the reality of Stalingrad.

We only had three buildings...

Normally when we do a Cityfight game the table is covered in buildings.

As I was hosting the game, Simon had to bring the buildings with him and it was only when he arrived we decided on a Stalingrad style game, we had his IG charging across a large open square hence the openess.

We are having a return match on Saturday and this will be a table full of buildings, lots of buiidings.

Watch out for new photos next week.

So how does cityfight compare to crossfire?

Crossfire is a WWII skirmish style game. ?

I think that 40K and crossfire are as complete opposite as you can get in terms of rule systems.

Great pics Jimbo. ?Thanks

Some great pics there Jimbo, nice armies! Looks like you had some fun games.

I really wish I could get into the latest version of 40K, but it just seems so stale in comparison to 2nd ed.:(
