I have been using Future Acrylic Floor wax to thin my paints and I really like the results. When paint is a little stubborn coming out of the brush, swirling it in Future works much better than water. Afterwards, I wash the wax out of the bristles, but some stays in, I know, and that helps it keep its sharp point.
