Hi!

It has occurred to me that for many of the races (the ones with relevant attack craft, at least) in BFG, we have either the same craft in Epic scale that we have in BFG - such as the Epic FIghta-Bommerz, Barracudas and Mantas - or could easily be used to represent the starfighter equivalents - such as repping the Forge World Nightwings as Darkstars, or Hellblades as Swiftdeaths.

We have Epic-scale stats (some official, some in-progress) which could be modified for a space-based squadron combat game.

Also, there are a few fighter-based rule systems, such as Silent Death, which we could create a BFG mod for.

So, how many of you are interested in figuring out a fighter-scale combat system for dogfights between the stars?

You mean as a seperate game from BFG?

Doing it in BFG would not be wise because it would have impact on gameplay.

From what I heard there is coming Airwars for Epic, maybe expand from there to the stars.
