The only important holiday, is ANY nations Veterans Day, because it is the only day when those that made the ultimate sacrifice for their nation, and it's people, are remembered.

So

Let us all never forget those that are on permanent patrol and never will make it home.

Jaldon :p

Amen, brother.

Amen indeed.

The most sombre ceremony I've ever been to is the tolling of the bell, for every submarine 'on eternal patrol'.

'Rest easy shipmates, we have the watch.'

Although in the States we tend to remember our losses on Memorial Day, and the survivors on what y'all call Armistice Day (veteran's day, to us).
