yes I'm working in a necron army, now I have arround 32 necrons (chaos androids stands) and I have 6 scarabats (to do destroyers) if you see the pictures you can see a "hand made" necron monolith.
If more people have new ideas o pictures, can share it, please?
I begin to write a necron army for netepic and here I want to put an important number of units.

now that you've posted your fantastic Necron Monolith in the Epicomp section, I was wondering if you could give us some clue as to how you made it?
I think there's a keyboard key on top of the model, but I can't figure out what you used for the rest of the Monolith. Also, is it on a small or a big flying base?
Thanks.

Hi Hojyn, If it weren't so simple, I'd wait until the end of the comp vbefore posting but: 1 - I got hold of some plastic parts of a car switch. 2 - I glued these together with the largets in area in the middle. 3 - add the all-too-obvious key on top, and part of a correction tape reel on the bottom, drilling a hole for the stand in this. 4 - Black undercoat, tinbits, brass, silver drybrushing in different proportions, some yellow text, washed with flesh, and some green flock in a couple of spots.
If you're still interested, I'll post more pics of it when the comp ends. cheers, John

Thanks,
I'll certainly look forward to your pics !
In the meantime, I've decided to steal your idea of using keys and Warmaster Nice's suggestion of using slottabases for Necron Monoliths... and here's the result (unglued and without a base, though).

I've made three variants, but I still can't decide which one looks best. Any opinions ?

Check out Tuffskull's blog here or his web site off of Epicomms.
DRM = Dark Realm Miniatures
It is a new miniatures company that Doug "Dark One" is starting.
There are preview photos on Tuffskull's site.
Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!
The DRM android figures will probably be the best proxy for necron is the following years.
