The inspiring bonus is no cumulative, is it? Furthermore, a big blob formation does not let you hold so much ground. It could prove difficult in the tournament scenario.

many thanks for all the replies, I think I will go with the Mech Ogryn option with a Sentinel screen and see how that pans out
