Yes, JZ has it right: i only drink Whisky; preferring US Whiskeys for late night summer camp fires and irish Whiskey's should it just do happen to be around.

In this particular case I'm currently polishing off last Xmas's Single Malt 'Connoisseurs Choice' from Caol Ila Distillery on the Isle of Islay; it's pretty damned peaty! 46% but somewhat smoother than say, Laphroaig. A 14yr bottle. Tasty!

So, the auctions, YES! Fantastic; a massive thanks to every taccomer that placed a bid or won an item; they're being packed as I type and some of them went off earlier today. A special thanks to Mr Anonymous who accepted an offer on all of my models advertised on these boards and helped raise a significant portion of what I needed.

As Doomkitten points out; yep, it went VERY well in some cases; some quite suprising prices; mostly from a bidder who's profile show's that they use eBay primarily to pick up very well painted armies from commision artists; perhaps a cash rich time poor person? And someone, in this case, with excellent taste. I don't beleive they're a Taccommer but if they are then another public Thankyou is in order: cheers *drinks Whisky*!

So, all in all: about I reckon a bit £2.4k is going to be the net profit; eBay fee's cost me just over £300, there'll be a percentage of the total lost to Paypal fee's and any of the math that doesn't add up is accounted for by returns to companies willing to let me send back mint unuses goods or deals here on Taccomms: pretty good going! Postage costs seem to have been taken care of too; and I've managed to arrange it that my packaging costs and a small amount of time are covered whilst still being able to refund those buyers whose postage fees exceed what's reasonable :-); I like to keep it al honest!
