Checked back with the team captain McCall and he is very fine with it as well.

So if Dan agrees and you are slaved to his decisions I'd say: welcome aboard the German A-Team :D

When all is settled pm your phone number to me and I will add you to the WhatsApp group for further alignment

Cheers!

Acting as her majesties nominated official on all matters Epic, I agree to Rob's nationality being changed to German and accept in full the agreement by said Germany to nationalize and re-home him in Germany immediately following the event.

Ah but I am fluent in games-conversation german, you'll never notice i'm not German.
My phrase book is packed:
Ich bin dran.
Bin ich dran?

The list goes on.
It's like im a native.
(I'm just hoping the fact that i get the word for key, and the word for washing up bowl, confused in german will not be tournament relevant.)

Ahahahahaha... you mean Schlüssel and Schüssel

Even better is to mix up the German words for brush and breasts
So a toothbrush easily becomes something very strange indeed

;D

My concern is that my German team mates are writing in better English than me.

Not a great advert for the British education system!

As long as you don't try and defecate through my brille we'll get along fine.

If you don't ask at least once how many of your units are able to shit then you aren't using life's opportunities to the fullest

It could be worse. We could be Scottish and not even able to spell this tournament's name correctly! ;)

Guys, how do you intend to do pairings within tournament rounds? Random? Could I propose a system?

I would imagine it will be swiss based, so first round completely random, and afterwards the top scoring players from each team play each other. I'd assume with the number of teams this may be swiss as well. I'm sure Dan will explain what he has planned at some point for that though :)

This is the best option in my view.

Please can I be randomly drawn against Scotland and specifally Dan 1st round though?

Actually, if teams both agree each other first round only I can see that being a good exception - Swiss for everything else otherwise.

#Exploring options, so let me know your thoughts.

My aim is to create a system that:
1. ensures players have the most fun - so reasonable match ups, and nobody gets destroyed to the level that they melt down their miniatures and check into rehab.
2. That really emphasizes that this is a team tournament, so has teams discussing strategies and what they need from each member in any given round (SERIOUSLY get yourself team uniforms!)
