With 12 players we can mix up 3 teams instead of looking for four additional players to fill up all gaps

Team South organised and finalised! Fair to say that they are the current holders I reckon.

So Germany, Poland and Scotland need a player.

I am remaining back-up option as long as possible. I'll join any team bar maybe Scotland - I would only join that lot to help sabotage them from the inside! ;)

Dan - would it be possible to get the venue details in the first post by any chance? Looking at accommodation and travel now, and stuff like travel time to venue would be useful in planning :) Hopefully it will be possible to find an AirBnB on par with the Berlin one!

Firstly, L&D, - I agree, they are a long way from Chaos. In the epic uk, they don't feature in the Chaos SM codex. So unless anyone heavily objects, Im happy for them to be viewed seperate.

Now trains.... Virgin highspeed. I think it's about 3 hours London to Glasgow, with a bar and a quiet coach. I once did the 'sleeper' it was like Benadorm without the sun or beach, everyone was sht faced and fighting, it was a terrible night. Really don't do that to yourself.
Also worth checking flights as they can be really cheap.

Dan - i can't see anything faster on Virgin than 4.5 hours, is there a different service or something that gives that kind of travel time?

No, Dan’s wrong on that. It’s 4.5 hours but the train goes right to the city centre (about 15 mins tube or cab from the venue).

Cool, thanks for the update. Talking of Venue, do you have the exact details?

Train from Euston is great - 4.5 hours is pretty quick, and no hassle either end as with flying. Only thing is to try and book early if possible for cheaper tickets.

Indeed. Where's best to go for the tickets out of curiosity? Pirce on Virgin and National Rail at least seemed identical, although Virgin seemed to be currently selling tickets up to the first week of september, so the dates we're looking at should be available in a few weeks i guess.

Spot on. When prices go up we should all post on here to advise everyone of it.

I use the Virgin Trains website.

Looking at the Sisters of Battle and there's the EpicUK version of the list but no approved NetEA version.

However the EUK version and the current developmental version of NetEA are pretty similar and getting 5 competitive games in using it would help it's development process a decent amount.

Any chance I could use the NetEA version of Sisters from here: viewtopic.php?f=130&t=33679

Hi Scut,

I can totally see your point with this. However, in order to keep what is already a slightly confusing system as clean as possible I’m going to say no. Only Netea approved or epic UK approved lists. Otherwise there’s quite a few cases for exceptionalism (eg the currently in testing netea dark eldar list) etc

Been out the game for a little while now, but very much up for this! From SW England, but happy to join any team that may need some ‘filler’.

I understand that there is interest in a SW Team - not sure who was/is organising that one though?

After the financial misery that has been the last two tournaments (I missed a flight and had to buy a train ticket, and I had to book a venue with very short notice), I would sleep far easier at night if more people would confirm and contact me about payment.... - the venue is already booked and paid for, and I may well be returning to the docks to work my money back.
