I am happy to join a team with Richard (to avoid losing to him as usual), Dan (since we share an interest in wine) and Steve (to translate wine induced scottish accent)

I am being practical.

The optimistic situation is that there could be the following (assuming France are not interested):

1. Sweden
2. Germany
3. Denmark
4. Norway
5. England
6. Scotland

6 teams is a good number. Arguably Norway will struggle most to build a team, so maybe can combine with another Scandinavian country to recreate a Viking team.

This means we might see something more like:


1. Sweden
2. Germany
3. Denmark/Viking
4. England 1
5. England 2
6. Scotland


There is pretty much zero chance of me getting into an England 1st team, and a small chance I would get into an England 2nd team.


I am not particularly nationalistic, so therefore it makes sense all round if there is a space in a European team that I offer to make up the numbers.
