It depends on some external factors (will know in a week) and how much my wallet cries, but maybe I'll be able to go. Do you know of anyone not on the list that plans to come from Berlin or Brussels? I see one person on the list from Berlin and will ask but would like to know of more as that would lessen the pain in my wallet a lot and increase the chances that i go by miles.

I don't know a thing about German, unfortunately, but i can understand most of the change in rules using english and the rest will go with a translator, but help is always welcome. Thank you.

The biggest problem is ... how keen are you on painted armies? To be sincere, I have been actively collecting and playing miniatures for a bit more than 25 years but i have painted not a single one in all those years, with the only ones i have that are painted are those i bought second hand that were already painted, so even thought i have around 13000 points for Epic i think that painted, for 1500 points list of a single army are only around 1000. It is just that i don't like to paint at all neither see the point of it and prefer to model and sculpt a lot more. I have had problems with this trend in the last 15 years about requiring all the miniatures to be painted to enter a Warhammer tournament like in the official GW ones, with all kind of restrictions, but i don't know how it usually goes for Epic and much less around Cologne.

Hello Abetillo,

we would be honoured to have a Spanish Player with us at the Tourney.
The guy from Berlin doesn´t travel directly to Cologne.
There are some more potential participants in Berlin, but until now, they haven´t shown interest in coming.
Maybe that changes...
I´ve looked at flights and it´s possible for you to fly from Porto to Cologne with Ryanair.

Regarding the unpainted state of your minis: If you travel that far, who are we to let paint come in the way of having a good time? So, doesn´t matter that much.

So I am for coming. Unfortunately the plane tickets almost doubled in price along the week so its only one tournament that I will go to for now. I was checking also on the Hannover one but you have more people signed on this one, so there I'll go if nothing changes in my life.

Unfortunately Porto wouldn't be a good option, as its probably around 60 Euros to just get there but thanks for looking: The problems of not living on a very big city. But it doesn't matter, I can come to the tournaments on Germany this time is because I am moving to where there is better plane connections, if not i doubt i would have tried to even take a look, it would be too expensive for me no matter where the tournament was.

Hey guys,
better late than never...

So, the tournament went well. We had a somewhat slow start because the games took longer than anticipated.
We went for three games in the end and I think everybody enjoyed the day.

The end result was this:
1.Graf_Spee/Feral Orks (Who took the first place in the national german Epic ranking with this.)
2.Boederich/DKoK
3.Saukopfblende/Black Legion

Nicest looking army:Saukopfblende

Longest Trip to the tournament/Toughest Eater:Abetillo

Many thanks to Vanguard Miniatures for their price donation!
