They seem to me to be another "destroyer of hordes" list to me. So much IC/macro that during a game last night a unit of Repentia supported by a Mission managed 14 kills before combat res against a Krieg infantry company in ruins. And Dave only got to save against the single neural whip attack from the Mistress. Even Iron Warriors don't have this much IC

Seems appropriate for the faction to me, they are very into BURN THE WITCH! These and Salamanders SM are the two 40lk factions I'd most associate with flame weapons.

Oh I appreciate the theme but IC in such amounts is one of those things that absolutely bones armies like Orks or Guard and has little to no effect against Marines and such. I'm just not into rock/paper/scissors armies and matchups

IC is obvious stronger against armies which like to put big blobs of infantry (squats, nids, guard, orks) in terrain but there's plenty of ways to play round it (I say this as someone who plays those armies into speed freaks pretty regularly). Don't forget that MW is waaay better against marines than say guard & sisters have plenty of access to that.

Stay mounted where practical/possible. Increases your engage range and renders most of the formations unable to hurt you unless they engage.
Only the Lightnings and Exorcists have decently ranged AT, otherwise it's 15cm multimeltas and plasma guns, the ocassional Hunter (only available to the tank formations) and some multilasers on the 0-1 Inquisitorial formation upgrades.

Yeah, if you're krieg being 31cm in gorgons feels super strong against them.
