The first Saturday in November, the 4th, in Lancaster, PA piggy backing on HMGS' Fall In convention NetEA tourney returns. Fall In is 3-5 November at the "Host." They have been fixing the Host. So it is not the shit hole you remember from 4 years ago. Over have the rooms have been redone. All the gaming tables and chairs replaced. The convention halls have been redone? To score a spot you will need to sign up for Fall In. Registration open on 9/4/2017. https://www.hmgs.org/?page=FIReg If you have never been to any of HMGS big 3, this is how it works. Thursday night, all day Friday and Saturday, and Sunday morning there are games from 07:30 to 2am. Most games are historical, but there are steampunk, SciFy, alt history, adult drinking games at night, kid games, lady only games at night for the wife, kid freely games. And a shit ton of tourneys. The food is better than avg. Beer is available all day, liquor after noon till 01:30, coolers are welcome. Across the street there are 5 places in walking distance. If you sign up before the event starts, you can pick a game early. Then a second game the day before. This secures two games a day. If you walk in and sign up, well life will be a bitch. The line is out the door long, you only get one secured game a day. You will blow most your morning screwing around signing up. Also by this time the game you wanted is full! Games run every 3-4hrs all day. After signing in you will get tickets to your secured spots. Any game you don't have a ticket for, show up 30 minutes early and ask the GM for standby. Most of the time they will squeeze you in. Sometimes people are no shows and you get in. I have been able to play almost 4 games a day at every convention. When I don't have a game I will ask for standbys on every game that interest me for theme slot. Some tell you right away, there is no room, others say hold on. Bounce between locations and you will get in. There is a vendor hall the size of an indoor football field. 99% is historical based games. Twice a day there is a flee market. I always come in on Thursday. An early dinner, grab my con badge, smack down some beers and play one game. Friday I play all day and Saturday I will be at the NetEA tourney. |

I don't have a job, or am retired? Whatever. My new job is to pimp this tourney! The PEL is what HMGS call the daily schedule. Kal is running the Epic Tourney. This is exactly what you should find in the PEL. Once the PEL is released, the epic tourney will have a number. Add that number to your registration on 9/4, email your list, then its beer and dice! I updated the player list and the prizes. For Friday night we plan to do pick up games. So bring 1000-2000 pts armies also, this allows smaller games for some new players to play and also to get a couple of games in. We could also do big battle combining armies. |

i have got terrain and battlemats. Matt will be bringing his terrain also and any battlemats. We are good for everything. if you have a certain terrain piece you want to bring please do so. Also bring any games you might want to play outside of Epic. I may bring Conan by Monolith game to try out. |
