Oh, are we still looking to organise pairs beforehand or is that being done at the event btw?

Happy either way, although if it's at the event itself it might be an idea to pair up based on something like average player score or somesuch, where you match up highest with lowest and so on to balance out the pairs and stop any 'power couples' being formed

As most of the teams in the first post are already 'pairs' then I thought we would stick as is?

I doubt it will be much of an issue but will the 'players in each team must use a list from a different codex' rule be in force? I can see Steve and Dave potentially both wanting to use eldar.... and if one of them is in a huff from not getting their first choice, better for everyone else....

Dave and myself are all booked up for this trip. We've bought weekend passes so we can have a good look around the expo on Friday. If we're on the Megabus for 6 hours we might as well make a weekend of it

Yes the rule of no repeat race in the pair will be in force for this.

Random match ups for the first round, then swiss in the pairs after that.

I suggest we have an extended lunch on Sat so people that are only doing the weekend get some time to go around the show.

Gents, how does this sound for an outline schedule.

Sat
09:00 Registration.

09:30 Game One starts.
12:00 Game One ends.

14:00 Game Two starts.
16:30 Game Two ends.

16:45 Game Three Starts.
19:15 Game Three Ends.

Sunday

09:30 Game Four starts.
12:00 Game Four ends.

14:00 Game Five starts.
16:30 Game Five ends.

16:45 Awards and thanks yous.

That gives a two hour lunch/look around the show break each day. We can always be flexible with times to suit on the weekend.

If all players can send their lists to tournaments@epic-uk.co.uk by 26th May I'd appreciate it.

Remember each pair have to use different races, so no double Eldar or Marines etc.
