BHGS Challenge at UK Games Expo June 4th-5th

I was about to say doubles.... and suggest a wacky format I've just dreamed up!

Play using two 6x4 tables. One team deploys within 30cm each side of the center point, other team deploys up to 15 cm from each table end (short edges). Not thought about objectives yet but I'll get to that lol. May not be exactly balanced!

We're looking at coming down to this and checking ticket prices and stuff but I just need to confirm that it's on the Sunday and Monday? Is the date a typo? Just it's the same on the EpicUK website

Epic-UK site was wrong, fixed that now!

How many of you are planning on coming down?

You need to but tickets for the Expo itself and then a tournament ticket for Epic.

When I've played games with deployments akin to this in other systems, the players in the middle quickly move to attack one of the edge players, refusing to engage the fourth player until his teammate is destroyed... at which point it's quick work for the middle players to mop up player 4.

yeah... guess objective placement limits would be needed to enforce engagement on both flanks.

Not something for this year probably.

Gents, with SteveC having to drop and flyingthruwater being a pair we could do this as 6 pairs round robin? This is assuming AndyH can still make it?

Do we know if its going to be 3k or 4k games? I don't mind either way but I'll need to step up my painting schedule if it's 4k
