Really looking forward to having a list that's not limited by: 1. Baggage allowance 2. Customs 3. Difficult conversations at the airport. (Why are you suspicious that a grown man in a suit is carrying a laser, 4 tubs of glue, a tape measure and some toys in a gun carrier??!)

Hi guys, The shiny new EUK Glasgow tournament "McPocalypse Now" is on for Sat July 8th, at the Glasgow University Union Bridie Library (grand old room with books). Tickets are £15, and are on sale now. Please paypal: JohnJCole AT hotmail DOT co DOT uk. Lunch is even included, so theres really no excuse for not traveling to bonnie old Glasgow for some epic. As ever its the standard 3 games at 3,000 points. Prizes for 1st and 2nd place, and best painted. The schedule is: 10.00 – 10.30 – Registration and Welcome 10.30 – 1.00 – Game 1 1.00 – 1.30 – Lunch 13:30 – 16:00 – Game 2 16:15 – 18:45 – Game 3 18:45 – 19:00 – Awards Getting there and parking: There is nearby un-metered and metered parking. The venue is a 30 minute walk from Glasgow Central train station, or 5 minutes from Kelvinbridge underground station. The address is: 32 University Avenue, Glasgow G12 8LX. Confirmed entrants: 1. For the table scenery we are planning to have: Badlands: Cactus forest, badland hills, desert buildings and an oil pipeline. Cityscape 1: Tower blocks, ruins, hills. Cityscape 2: Tower blocks, factories, ruins and hills. Agriworld: Forests, green hills, a river, agri-buildings. Polar outpost: Ice hills, ice craters, snowy forest and military outposts. Lava world: volcanic hills, mineral craters and tainted factories.
