Scathing!

Dans not the only one with a weird list, I'm dropping my whole army out of a spaceship. What could go wrong?

I was just correcting Dan's claim to a 100% win record against me with 1k sons.

Well my army are turning up in landas so I'll see your what can go wrong and raise you orks! ;D

Any naff decisions I make on Saturday will no doubt be caused by a momentary lapse in caffeine consumption. I highly doubt getting the 4.05 bus from Newcastle on Saturday morning will help my decision making in the last game...

But at least I'm bringing an army that can shoot straighter than the Ghaz Orks I took to Birmingham so I may even manage a point or two :)

Can't wait for Saturday!

Unless the University has changed a lot since I studied there (which is admittedly a chuffing long time ago) they probably will be showing this in the bar downstairs. You'll find a willing viewing buddy in Dan (he's from the East coast so enjoys such things).

Happy to watch at mine. Its 10 minutes walk from the union, so could catch most of it before we start. Those early bus folk could swing by too if they find themselves hanging about before 10am.

The tables will be set up already, so its not a mad dash in the morning.

We're due to have about 90 minutes casual milling to do before the tourney so anything that'll pass the time is good with me :)

Grudge match vs Dan....

With his quick play army we could catch the end of the game and still finish before everyone else ;)

As much we love Epic I have a feeling that 3 games in a day may be about as much as we'd be able to handle after 4 hours travelling and a 3.30 alarm clock. I'll ask Dave T tonight though and let you know.

I'm just tidying up my redcoats at the mo ready for the tourney. Their various campaigns have left their uniforms a bit worse for wear and they need all of their boots and buttons to shine for the big day :)

Actually, we can't get into the building before 10 so its a no go anyway. I can recommend Offshore or Chai Ovna near the venues as cafes with seats suitable for sleeping if you need a pre-battle powernap - spent most of my degree kipping in there! Your 4am start blows my 5am for Exeter a couple of years ago out of the water!

Hopefully the ride up in the wee hours will be filled with such powernaps so the plan is to find a café so we can get sufficiently tanked up on tea and coffee

Brilliant - let the trash talk start.

Dan - with all your aircraft and no ground based AA I'm going to make you 'recycle' everything ;)

Afternoon appointment confirmed so will not be arriving a stupid o'clock tomorrow night as long as there are no accidents on the way up north.
