Thanks to everyone who came along yesterday, hope you all had a good time.

Various thanks to Duncan for helping set up on Friday, Nat, Blip, tc.63, MikeT (and anyone else I've missed!) who helped tidy up, and Duncan, Dan1314 & MarkW for three different and uniquely challenging games.

And the end of the day the roll call of honours was as follows:

1st - MarkW
2nd - Reedar
3rd - stevekcole

Most sporting - CAA
Players army award - MarkW
Judges best painted - CAA

Hopefully see you all again next year.

I think you've missed Dan out of the results. From memory he had 2 wins (against Horatio and Chris) and a loss (to Darren). Check with Reedar though. His list was something of a talking point so be good to have it on the site!

I'm screen grabbing and framing that championship table cos it ain't gonna last. Very nice of the top guys to give Mark, Reedar and I a head start before they actually start attending this year! Though great to see CLWC in the top 2 spots.

Great event with the usual superlative organising from Reedar. Also some really interesting table layouts with roads making an appearance.

I had 3 of the most enjoyable/challenging games of epic I've ever played against Mike, Tim and my brother. Stand out moments are Mike saying 'I just need to roll four 6s to save this unit' and then doing so. Tim very politely pouncing on the worst move I've made in a game of epic in years 'Erm, I'm a little surprised you did that.' and John laughing as I repeatedly forgot about the countercharge range of ferals.
