In theory Krieg will be good. I can think of a number of ways to stop them though. Plus this tournament will represent 50% of my total games ever with them and something like 1/4 of my total games with guard full stop so I'm gonna be crap! Now had I not burned Squats earlier in the year you guys would be facing huge infantry companies that I actually know how to use mounted in leviathans (DC4, 4 void shield, 3bp macro & a billion lascannons)! ;D

I reckon you'll be fine - it's blobs of infantry in superheavy tanks backed up by volcano cannons on... more superheavy tanks. It 'aint rocket science, but it's straightforward and effective ;)

Just remember the golden rule of Krieg - never get out of the tanks when you absolutely don't have to!

Hmm, can I manage to get six units in combat with each Gorgon, including some MW attacks? >:D

Probably not with EpicUK Death Guard. Oh well, BARRAGE ALL THE THINGS!

Does a DC6 War engine count? :-)

Sadly not. :'( I believe Warlock trapping Krieg in a Gorgon led to Epic UK changing the rules!

Intresting set of lists. Be great fun to see a Warlock-off if me and Blip get matched up. I'm guessing it might come down to dice rolls rather than any skill, mind ;)

Surprised(though relieved) not to see any speed freaks or Nids. Thought they'd suit this scenario perfectly.

Just what I was thinking, and that nids with lower activations could teleport turn one and guarantee 1st activation. But Steves krieg does look pretty optimal. Look fwd to the pics.

Ha - I'd say Richard's unbeaten black legion look pretty optimal to me!

My gorgons are more than sufficiently terrified of the warlocks already following Mark can opening them last week.

When's the draw by the way?

That might have been me with the Warlock on Gorgons, i think i got both in a unit in base contact once, which may have been somewhat upsetting for the Krieg player...

Top tip against Warlocks though - don't be afraid to stick the infantry 'aka meatshields' out front to protect the gorgons in an assault, or even better if possible get in base contact with it with both the gorgons and some infantry, then put the normal hits on the gorgons, and the TK stuff on the infantry, which you can do as they're all equidistant at that point. Obviously you need to still make the normal saves...

I do find it interesting really though that while you can pick out a war engine in shooting, you can't in firefight? odd, but there you go.

I don't imagine that air assault list is overly fond of warlocks?
