no trouble - the hills were the final three that had previously been painted cream and consequently weren't being used - easy enough to repaint white. I ordered a lot more Christmas trees but most seem to have gone missing on route from China - they may make an appearance for next winter. Popping in to the club sometime before last orders tonight - will put stuff in the black box |

Can some one give Rob a poke for me, I have just sent him another email and worried that it is going into his junk email. Otherwise I might end up playing two league games next month. |

Updated to include the points from Rob and Alun's draw plus Alun's remodelled Knight list. |

Mark and I played what has to be the oddest game of epic ever last night. Turn 1 was pretty normal, turn 2 started with Mark surprisingly (having gone first on turn 1) winning the roll to go first on turn 2 before preceding to fail fully 50% of his activations for the turn. Not to be outdone my TK sons armour promptly turned to paper mache which included a retinue having jammily survived a bezerker assault losing half its models and being broken when assaulting a unit of thudd guns, my terminators taking 3 hits from and overlord and losing 3 models, and 14 4+ shots (with 3 macros) plus 4 3+ shots killing a grand total of 1 rhino. Basically, for both of us no unit behaved in anyway as you'd expect so we ended up with 2 units on each others respective blitzes, no other objectives, and a general air of bemusement. Properly random if hilarious game! |

Totally bizarre game - from turn 2 onwards every dead cert failed, and every unlikely occurance that could happen did! Very entertaining though - never thought I'd see a game where both players out-gavined Gavin... |

Gavin and I played a very tactical straight draw last night. Really good game. Gavin matched my inability to win the initiative roll by completely wiffing his aspect assault on my defilers (killing 1 defiler with about 16 attacks). |

2 great games with Alun just now. A 2-1 turn 4 won for the sons against his Knights (after my bts got utterly stomped by one of the households). Then a great game against a 3 true scale warlord amtl list! Scary beans. My Warphound looks pitiful by comparison Attachment:

The Necrons activated their repair programs and are fully operational again. |

Big 3-0 win for Alun's Knights against Flo's necrons who were surely struggling to reboot after their repairs. Rockets Alun up the table. |

Squats 2-0 Necrons Due to time issues we didn't get to finish turn 3, so Florian (very sportingly) gave me a 2-0 as that looked the most likely outcome with the Necrons having 5 (unbroken) activations facing my 11. A good game with some very good assaults from the Necrons(4 bezerker formations left standing had 2-3 squats left) matched by good shooting from the Squats. Biggest game changer was the C'Tan being one-shotted by the Cyclops on only about the 3rd activation of the game. Ouch! Had we had more time and Florian not had such awful rally rolls turn 3 would have been very intresting |

Mark's gaining on me. Points updated - including my own which I'd miscalculated, win and a draw should see Mark take the title! |

Gavin v Alun ended a straight draw - a big hats off to Alun for being the first person to play all their games! Huzzah |
