Dear All,
Registration is now open for the Cambridge Doubles Event on Saturday 28th September at Trumpington Village Hall - doors open at 9:15am, Game 1 starts at 9:45am.
Tickets will cost £10 (please send payment to: mintroll-paypal@2-72.co.uk). Lunch not included, but there's a pub next door and Waitrose nearby.
The event will consist of two 4000pt games. Each player will bring a 2000pt army that will be paired up with another player at random (everyone enters as an individual).
Thanks to many peoples comments and suggestions we have written some rules to cover doubles play - they aren't perfect and look more complicated than they are, but we'll run through the details on the day.
Important points for army selection:
- Two spacecraft can be activated each turn - so spacecraft aren't as risky to include
- Your 2000pt army can be one of two formats
- A standard legal 2000pt list (max 666pt air+titan)
- One titan costing 850 or more points, and (2000-titan cost)pts with no other air or titans
