We bought a cheapo Nissan Micra at an auction... surprise surprise we found it had a few faults when we got it home. :D

and you have no other means of getting to Mansfield - eg bus or train? Or are there other issues like accomodation?

It's considerably cheaper and faster to drive than it is to use mass transport, plus I wanted to swing by Nottingham whilst I was in that end of the world... gah, t'would have been very convinent to have a working car this weekend! :D

It looks like it's a busted water pump.
