I'd vote for the Gryphonne suppliment. Titanmunda is great fun, but it's best to wait and see what FW are going to do with their Titan game first, or if it happens at all...

Well, it does seem as if the fall of Gryphonne IV is the most popular.

I think it'd be the coolest to do too.

And Epic: Gryphonne IV makes a good title ;)

For "Green and Mean" i think that for a jungle themed supplement the Raptors would fit better than the Salamanders.

Personally the Salamanders i would still like to see in an Armageddon themed supplement. Baring one company the whole chapter deployed there.

@Chroma YES! :D
No serious. This sounds like a new edition of Epic rather than a new supplement :) Epic: Hades Hive or so would sound better :)

From E&C:
I wonder how difficult it would be to have some stickers printed, that could simply be stuck over the changed entiries.

Personally i would prefer stickers. Much better than to have loose sheets of paper to put into the book:)

Gryphonne IV would be sweet!

And, well call me biased but Epic: Jungle would be a great place to add Flesh Tearers :vo

Another thought to add: why spend a year producing a supplement for a titan game, when FW are meant to be releasing their own titan game supplement around then or not long after? (which I would expect to be pretty popular and pull in a decent amount of mainstream W40k gamers) Yours could well play better, but how many titan games does the epic community really need?

You know, this is a good point.  In addition, if there is anything to make GW stamp out our endeavor it would be a competing book.  I'd go for option A.

Excellent point, Mosc. I was on the fence, but it does seem that Epic: Gryphonne IV is the way to go.

It is also a concern of mine for the Tau as well.  Everything we've done so far can only enhance Epic purchases, but both these ideas could conceivably be viewed as cutting into their sales.  My suggestion is that these projects continue... They just need to be completed AFTER some of the others like Black Crusade.

Exactly.

Bah, whatever they do (ruleswise), we can make it better (if they do it at all, as you said).

I'm surprised noones suggested a heresy-era supplement :)

It's a point against having a competing Titan game, but how would having a supplement continuing the story of Taros and with a more balanced and up-to-date list for the Tau result in a reduction to FW's sales? Surely the opposite is true as it could a). encourage more people to buy Tau armies and models - which are only sold by FW - and b). possibly encourage someone who enjoys the backstory of the continuation campaign, to go buy the book of the original from FW.

Though personally, I rather liked the fact that the Tau continued expanding their fledgling emprie and took Taros, with the battered Imperium being forced to withdraw, unlikely to have the time/resources to come back and deal with them any time soon with all the Tyranid problems. If the sequel has the Imperium coming back in force and killing them all or re-taking Taros I'll be sad for Tauland  :_(

Pleased by the sounds from E&C that Gryphone IV will be done

I've also been considering AMTL/Imperium verus Orks, as the Ork army lists have a possibility of actually getting finished at some point in the next year. :)

Ditto! Can't we all get together and promise to do loads of playtesting and development of the Tyranids this next year?

Hopefully it could be fine-tuned and brought up to scratch in a year, but even if not and the Tyranid list did evolve a little more afterwards that's not the absolute end of the world and I'd far rather see a fantastic supplement out of it, Orkses again is boring!
