Since I'm still home sick with the flu and I'm very bored I managed to coax Norto into another Vassal game. Our wifes are going to start to worry soon since we're having 3 hour conversations over Skype every day this week...

I decided to try out Imperial guards with the following NDC suggestions:

Make Super heavy Tank Co with 3 Baneblades cost 425 points. +25 points for each upgrade to Shadowsword. +10 points for each upgrade to other variants.
Drop point on Bombards to 225 from current 250

Norto took Tyranids again trying out the following NDC suggestions:

Ignore one kill, for combat resolution purposes, in assaults per point of synapse in the formation.
Use EpicUK stats for Lictors.
Reduce Broodlord to +25 points, remove extra attack
Increase Trygon swarm size to 4 units base for +250 points, +60 for extra.
Trygons to +50 points as Tyranid Swarm extra.

My thoughts:

First time ever playing IG. The point reductions on Basilisks and Baneblade Co gave me a warhound instead of a thunderbolts which was nice. The IG list could use some help since it never makes it to the top 3 in any tournaments i go to.

I liked the baneblades price drop. When they shot they still didn't seem like much. I was always thinking was that it. But they still were going to hard to shift so 425 seams like a good start. Basilisks seem fine to at 225. Manticore always seem like the better option so I think it's a good move.

For th he nids im liking all the changes I trailed. None of them seem to much and probably also a good change.
