Couple of times I was distinctly embarrassed about my dice rolling.
Realise that the nice white dice fit the Titan Legion colour scheme but they rolled . . . . poorly.
For those who do the arithmetic that was 1950 points (out of 4000 points) of DC2, Arm 3+ [edited], Inv Sav 5+ war engines. I've never managed to make the Crisis Suits work well (without a Manta battle taxi that is). The Tau Shas'vre pilots will be very reluctant to move back to those old suits.
There were still over 33% casualties amongst the Riptides in this game. They were an aggressive front line, almost a wave, rather than a spear-head. Actual models en-route, . . . inbound on Tau Merchant Cruisers.

Of course those Eldar Revenants are a challenge to face as well, to the more mundanely equipped Tau.
